IMPORTANT NOTE: WHITE SARACINO is back in stock! Thank you for your patience!
*DISCLAIMER: Due to weather during transit, the fat (cocoa butter) may separate from the Pasta Model, much like how chocolate may have white splotches on the surface due to the same effect. Simply knead the cocoa butter back into the Pasta Model thoroughly before use.
For a modelling paste that is both durable yet malleable, look no further than Cake Masters 2017 Product of the Year: Saracino Modeling Paste.
So durable that it can be rolled or molded to a thickness of 1 mm, perfect for flowers and other delicate additions to cakes and treats.
Bend and shape pieces as you wish without fear of breaking due to its unique elasticity.
Has a high concentration of cocoa butter, it hardens quickly without drying out like traditional modeling pastes, making it easy to correct any mistakes.
Ideal for modelling 3D figures and toppers, can also be used for paneling cakes versus covering in fondant.
Palatable soft vanilla taste designed not to clash with main flavor of product. Can be adjusted with powder-based flavor as desired.
May contain traces of milk, nuts, soy, and tree nuts.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct light.
Please note: Saracino is a very firm modeling paste and may need a couple of seconds in the microwave to help knead into a soft pliable paste. REMOVE PLASTIC PACKAGING BEFORE MICROWAVING.
ALSO NOTE: As we move into the warmer months, Saracino (and other products like it) are susceptible to heat and may soften during transport.
You may also experience the following:
An oily residue inside the packaging. These are natural oils that will reabsorb into the Pasta Model as it returns to room temperature. You can expedite the process by manually kneading it back into the product.
A powdery white/cream colored film inside the packaging or on the Pasta Model itself. This is a combination of the cocoa butter and potato starch "blooming" on the surface due to heat and then returning to room temperature over an extended period of time. Microwaving for up to five seconds and kneading the Pasta Model will reconstitute the cocoa butter and potato starch back into the product. REMOVE PLASTIC PACKAGING BEFORE MICROWAVING.
